School Children’s visits
One of the major objectives of the museum is to give youth a clear picture of events in the period 1930 to 1945. For an effective school visit,the museum has developed a hand-out for students in upper primary and lower secondary education which covers the following topics:
- The emergence of the National Socialism 1918 - 1939
- The beginning of World War II
- Occupation of the Netherlands
- Concentration Camps
- Liberation
- Operation Market Garden
- The railway strike and the Hunger Winter
- The end of World War II

The tours are given by expert guides. In connection with the treated material the school may indicate in advance what aspects should receive special attention. Where necessary, special program guides are prepared. Tour duration is approximately 2 hours.
The museum would like reservations 4 weeks in advance.
For the transport of school groups, our American school bus is for hire, including a driver. The bus can accommodate up to 36 passengers.
