SERGT. VLTM. A. Muller's Cabin trunk
On 25 June 2011, Nellie van der Pas from Eindhoven donated a cabin trunk to the museum. It was once owned by naval Air Force sergeant Andries Muller.
The trunk was a gift from a soldier to Nellie's parents; whether this soldier was in fact Sgt Muller is unknown. Over the years, it has been put to good use as a suitcase when the Pas family went on vacation or to the campsite. Once there, it served as a bench for the children to sit on.
We will incorporate the trunk in one of the dioramas in our museum.
Although we do not know the origin of the trunk right now, we are certainly going to try and find out, hopefully with the help of visitors to the museum and/or this website. Please let us know if you have any information that you think might be of use! Here are some details and images:
